I agree with IAmTheOrg - He already gave us EVERYTHING. We are not entitled to anything more than that. However, it is already quite clear that the PRN Family has us in their sights when planning things - this past week in Minneapolis was a prime example. Also, they've already stated they will release music etc from the vault so not sure what your deal is. They still need to settle the estate before that happens. Have a little patience, faith...and maybe some humility too.

If you are referring to the BS coverage of Prince, I agree. I don't give a shit about his will. But his music that isn't Purple Rain has been shamelessly ignored by the media and awards shows.

I agree with you and too many posts in this place are into idol worship and conspiracy theories and Prince's personal life, rather than the artistry and music that he left all of us. Hopefully we will get more of his music released to the world in the coming years.

What exactly do we owe Prince though? His fans made him very rich and by most accounts that fan base remained a consistent and steady source of income and adoration for him. What more could fans have given him?

Prince is gone and yes, HE owes us nothing. The ESTATE, however, is a different story. Do they owe us anything on paper? No. But if they want the estate to be lucrative they need to move beyond cryptic soundbites and a series of poorly thought out cash grabs. The man made a point of thinking critically about most things, particularly matters of money. Why should we be any different when we know we are the target demographic?

We owe loyalty to him, for one thing. That's the most important in my eyes. Seeing to it that his plans for Paisley Park Museum and his legacy grows and thrives by doing what we can to support it, especially for future fans. I'm not just speaking of monetary support, but constructive criticism if need be, and ideas to make things better. There's been a constant barrage of criticism and negativity about mostly everything that's gone on (everywhere, not just here), but I've only seen one person who's made a list of his ideas on how things could be better. He had some great ideas too.
