Came into this thread expecting doubling down on the crazy.

Was not disappointed.

9/11, hidden song lyrics, illuminati, chef poisoning food, chemtrails, purple clothes, the royal family, numerology, religous assasination, cults, satanic sacrifices...Did I forget anything? Have we played any albums backwards yet?

These threads used to fire me up and make me angry and frustrated but now they're just hilarious. Keep up the great work guys. Seriously.

yeahthat I'm wondering why 3/4 of this isn't in the gossip and hearsay thread. There used to be legitimate, insightful and factual information on this thread but the train has clearly derailed. eek Sad, I was excited for thoughtful, engaging discussion on Prince's music and creative genius. I had no idea the Org was basically a Prince themed TMZ site.

.

Seems a select few here have lost there way and took a wrong turn (again). In case you are lost, you are currently in the "Prince Death: Information & Theories" thread!! biggrin

Agreed. But enough about how Prince faked his own death, the WB Illuminatti hit squad paid his chef to poison his food and if you play "Welcome to the Dawn" backwards it reveals his killer.

The changed the avatar because you could not read the other one, could you?? Now the new avatar, I wonder if anyone ever used it before. That's one of my favorite pictures of Prince. In 1984, when I was 11, my mother bought my the original Rolling stone magazine with this picture on the cover love love2

.

I like the early pictures of Prince. I can't recall what your old avatar was???

my old avatar was a screenshot of Prince's tweet from February stating to fans it's time to picket Warner Bros
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Prince's death has brought out the lunacy here. This place didn't used to be like this. It was more or less a place for general info about new music and the subsequent arguments about how good it was, usually sharply divided amongst fans of certain genres; R&B, ROCK and hip hop.

I think Prince's unfortunate death broke the brains of roughly 1/3 of our more ardent members and genuinely exposed the posters who simply liked him and his music from those who centered their entire world around his existence. I've done some research on this matter and apparently it's quite common. Cobain, Hendrix, Tupac, MJ, Elvis, Marylin Monroe, JFK...anyone who dies before their time basically...simply because they're famous means There Must Be More to It.

The grief and the profound sense of loss people feel having attached themselves and investing their self identity so much to a complete stranger...it tends to bring the lunatics out to the forefront, primarily because those fans attached so much of their sense of self to someone they basically worshipped without even having known them or met them in person.

Long story short: a LOT of people here seem to have used thier fanaticism, Prince's music and even Prince himself as so much an identifier of Who They Are as PEOPLE, that when he passed away they lost a significant portion of their own identity. Like, they can't imagine living in a world without him. They quote the Bible and then ignore the parts about false idols. It's some sort of ass backwards defense mechanism born of an inate sense of insecurity that I've seen hundreds of times but have never been able ot wrap my head around.

On the topic of how WB & TMZ may be behind all the negative news surrounding Prince's death. Something that was said in this article caught my attention:

.

.

"It comes amid reports that claim the Raspberry Beret star was suffering from AIDS at the time of his death and was "preparing to die for a little while".

.

"A music industry source interviewed by The National Enquirer messaged friends on April 19 to say the singer was suffering from the disease. “He was in bad shape,” the source claimed to the newspaper, as reported by Radar Online."

.

So, there you have it.......WHAT music industry "source" could it be, other than WB? eek

Has been my thought as well, Nooriginalusername. I feel that there are two distinct threads, ".....THEORIES" & ".....CONSPIRACIES". My reasoning for this is as follows:

Theories
, I feel, might include speaking to the factual information, e.g., "where did Prince get the illicit pain meds", "why was he taking pain meds", etc.
Def of "Theories": http://www.merriam-webste...ary/theory
and on wiki: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory

Conspiracies, again my thoughts, might include sinister information, e.g., (these are not my thoughts but are currently being discussed on both threads), "why was Michelle Obama wearing a purple dress in England on April 21st....hmmmmm", "Prince's chef previously worked for the Queen.....hmmmmm", etc.

Def of "Conspiracy": http://www.merriam-webste...conspiracy

Very thought-provoking and correct analysis. I have sympathy for some of the conspiracy extremists only because Prince's death really was quite random and the implication that Prince may have been on drugs for a large portion of his career is the complete opposite of what he practiced and preached in life. It always seems to be the ones who are quietest who have most to hide. The 'famous druggies', from the 70s rock-stars to the current trap rap stars, are usually the ones who end up living long lives, while P kind of just disappeared and we were told it was drugs. Not disagreeng with you btw, just pointing out how his death was odd.

Wow....Really..? You're that provoked by people simply exploring ideas that you want to hit them? If I may be so bold, I'd suggest that that implies you have just as many 'issues' as those with whom you're so 'frustrated'!

.

To be honest, I don't get it: I don't find anybody's ideas so upsetting (given that they are just personal theories and intrigues, described on an internet forum) that I reach the point of despair that some posters are intimating here! Maybe just avoid the offending thread? Or come and have a read and a chuckle / sniff of disdain and then move on, perhaps? After all, the only energy you're wasting on getting so cross is your own!

.

Personally, I find it all rather fascinating - I might not agree with everything being said but nor will I make a point of disparaging those who say it. I really don't see the reasoning behind that - but maybe that's just me..?

I think the moderators just decided to have all those types of discussions to be in the "Prince Death" thread, since it's all related. We are here to discuss, share information, give our theories about what happened, etc. I don't have any issue with it, but clearly some others do. I really don't think it's a big deal, but that's just me.

Truly, I've no idea...I assumed that the 'curiosities' thread was for the more 'outrageous' views, or just little oddities we find that may / may not have anything to do with P's passing, whilst this one was strictly for developments / articles / plausible theories (although I guess there's a fine line between one person's 'plausible' and another person's 'outrageous', lol - and that's where the confusion lies)!

I think regarding Prince's death; those comments should be here, but then again, the other thread also related to his death (curiosities & conspiracies). nuts

Just a thought: the fact that some people in this thread acknowledge the existence of certain conspiracy theories (like, for instance, me mentioning Michelle Obama's purple dress) does not necessarily mean they believe in them, it simply means they are aware of them being out there. Like the truth. Get it?
Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Having said that, obviously some of you must be enjoying it cause you keep coming back for another piece of the loony purple pie.

I enjoy returning to this thread because it helps me appreciate that, although I might not be rich and handsome and thin, at least I can think straight — which is more than can be said for a lot of posters to this thread.

So, basically, I come here to count my blessings.

There's nothing wrong in keeping an open mind. There is, after all, a grey area between the "sheep" and the "nuts". Notice I put those two words in brackets.

Besides, this is the only place where we can discuss this topic and whatever theories surrounding it, so why not let people do just that, without constantly attacking their intelect? Surely there's something more interesting to do?

MMJas.....I certainly did not mean to specifically call you out. It was just a comment that stuck in my head. It can be difficult, at times, deciphering sincerity on an (anonymous) Internet forum. And really, you don't know me or my intent in the same way I don't know you and your true intent.

Can't quite tell if the last comment is directed specifically at me (there I go again) but am going to respond anyway. I do keep coming back because of a few different reasons: a) I don't frantically search the Internet all day long looking for updates to the investigation so feel this is a reasonable source to check for new information & b) I guess I am somewhat fascinated &, frankly, frightened that there are factions within this site who might actually believe in the illumaniti, large corps scheming murderous plots, etc.

So, there you have it.....in all my sincerest honesty

Hi phatphuk.....was wondering about you (but didn't want to be stalkerish & orgnote)! You went silent for a bit (at least in the parts I have been frequenting around here). Glad to hear from you again!

Seriously.

Well dang Herb4. That's an excellent idea. Outstanding!

People are wondering if the music industry is satanic. Well duh. Of course it is. lol. Always has been.

Check out some of the late great Ronnie James Dio. He knew what was up.

Fair enough. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion and I agree with a lot of what you say.
We are two people interacting online (don't even know if you're a guy or a girl) in a forum dedicated to a man known worldwide that we both love (I assume you do), who died unexpectedly and left a lot of questions unanswered, so we are bound to come across many theories, some more farfetched than others.

To me there's some religious talk that seems just as unreal and dangerous and farfetched as perhaps some of these so called conspiracy theories might seem to you, but I don't call people out on them nor do I insult them (not saying you do). I don't think that certain religious beliefs are particularly intelligent, but i certainly don't comment negatively if someone on here states them.

As for the last part of my comment, it was not directed at you. smile

How do, NotA? How's business?

I was in a "coma" for a few days after being struck by an ultraviolet-colored lightning bolt.

Yeah, sometimes it's just healthy to reduce one's exposure to "the crazy" that herb4 talked about a few posts back.

I'd highly recommend to a lot of folks that post here, to at least try — every now and then — to stay away from posting to this forum for several days.

There is such a thing as spending too much time on prince.org {that's not directed at you, by the way, NotACleverName}.

I think the moderators just decided to have all those types of discussions to be in the "Prince Death" thread, since it's all related. We are here to discuss, share information, give our theories about what happened, etc. I don't have any issue with it, but clearly some others do. I really don't think it's a big deal, but that's just me.

Truly, I've no idea...I assumed that the 'curiosities' thread was for the more 'outrageous' views, or just little oddities we find that may / may not have anything to do with P's passing, whilst this one was strictly for developments / articles / plausible theories (although I guess there's a fine line between one person's 'plausible' and another person's 'outrageous', lol - and that's where the confusion lies)!
.
Oh well - life isn't cut and dried is it, and neither are these threads!

.

I'm not really sure why they decided to lump it all in one thread. I understand what you are saying though.

.

I think regarding Prince's death; those comments should be here, but then again, the other thread also related to his death (curiosities & conspiracies). nuts

.

There are still TWO threads....."Prince curiosities" which includes conspiracies in the title and "Prince Death" - moderators have never lumped them into one. From time to time, the death thread dissapears because people can't respect each other.
Not into the info about the Queen, the Illuminati or what got lit purple and why, which is why I think they should remain two separate threads but I can scroll on through while you all have that exchange. lol
