from what I understand he was staying a Paisley at the time... the purple house was demolished some time ago "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

He lived there. The purple house on Kiowa Trail was torn down after John Nelson died. He'd been staying there in this last years. If you have a problem with me, text me. If you don't have my number, you don't know me well enough to have a problem with me.

Prince had an apartment on the second floor of Paisley Park. Sadly, this will not be part of the public tour but I can understand why. It was his home.

This is actually a better question than most think. One address listed as "residence" on the death certificate (not the press release form) (not the full autopsy report, which has not surfaced) is redacted but the address of where event occured (7801 Audobon, PP) is not.
We may not know about the place he lived (for example, the place where they wanted to describe the contents of his fridge but he would only allow an illustrator for the article not a photographer- the article mentions how secretive they were about the location, published in 2011), although he did presumably spend alot of his time, if not most of the last years at PP, living upstairs and working downstairs. Listen to me closely as the story unfolds
This could be the saddest story ever been told....

That fridge article was just an April Fool's day joke... ![]() The "non-certified record of death" says "place of death: decedent's home"... http://tmz.vo.llnwd.net/o...ate-02.pdf Former engineer Ian Boxill said Prince moved into Paisley Park in 2006... http://www.huffingtonpost...80828.html

I am recalling a few stories the last year or two where they referred to PP as his home. I am pretty sure at least one of those was mentioned here... and it made for a little debate. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

The video shows Brian Hiatt who interviewed him in 2014 saying it was a common misconception that Prince lived at PP. He crashed there. He says Prince lived 20 mins away, in a house. So where did he live? Will be listening to the Purple One till the day I die. Will dance till I no longer can..

I know Prince spent most of his time at PP, but I always wonder where he "lived". He owned several properties around Chanhassen, but I wonder which one? He sure kept it a secret, because you would think that locals would know.

That way he could have his privacy without people trying to follow him or take pics. Makes perfect sense to me. [Edited 10/29/16 14:37pm] Love is God, God is love, girls and boys love God above~

. Agree. . But, it sure would be nice to see where he lived. He owned several properties, so he could probably escape there whenever he wanted to without it being known. .

I've heard that, despite what happened there, the Galpin property was his favorite. That he was intending to build his permanent home there, and could possibly be where Tyco scattered some of his ashes. Everything you think is true

What "happened" there???

I believe Trevor Guy also said Prince didn't live at PP but he would often crash there. Paisley Park is in your heart

If you listen to the video to the end, he says that this was before Cool Ranch Doritos was invented. So this guy was speaking of quite a while ago.

His chefs left his dinner in the frig at PP on April 20th, so I'm going with he lived there.

In his skin. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

He had (at least) two houses torn down. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

His dad lived in the purple house for awhile but Prince eventually had the house torn down, although the gates (with the peace sign and heart symbols) are still there as far as I know. The yellow house on Galpin - the one with the swimming pool - he tore down not long after the divorce from Mani.

I remember seeing a news briefing when Prince passed. A police officer, I suppose the captain or whoever was in charge saying something about Prince's house. And when he was asked to clarify he stumbled around saying something about they (the police) knew where it was. Made me wonder but I can't make myself look for it or watch it again. Not yet. Maybe never.

The purple house was destroyed too, after Prince's father passed. TRUE BLUE
