I've always known he knew and believed it when thatGIRLthang said months ago that he did tell her and others he was close to. I was actually relieved to hear Tyka say she knew because maybe now the craziest of the theories and nuttiest of the Facebook pages and groups will finally go away. Nonetheless, it's been a very difficult time today

WOW...I missed this interview earlier this evening. Thanks for posting it. Maybe Tyka was just tired of holding it in. She seemed so matter of fact in this interiew. She seemed relaxed in this interview than being wound tight in the one from the TODAY Show.

P was close to God so maybe he just knew he was going to die soon...some people just know those things but not usually for that length of time. Two years seems like a long time to live with a terminal illness; it would seem that in that time it could have been treated...if that's what it was but am not in the medical field so I have no idea. I like others thought he didn't look well. I doubt he knew the pill contained Fentanyl and chose to take it anyway...particulary since he did the best he could to follow his faith. That would have gone against all his beliefs. Perhaps more will be revealed soon now that the door has opened somewhat. Peace to his loved ones and family.

But, just knowing she mentioned "preparing" for 2 years, I am very confused.

None of his closest friends seemed to know anything, including Sheila E. and Tamron Hall.

Prince hadn't always been close to his family, besides maybe his father. I think they were very close in his adult years. It just seems....odd. No will if she knew he was sick.

I do think that he was ill with something besides normal wear and tear of the joints. This is why I wish, once and for all, his family would release the official report so we can get an understanding of why he was taking opioid pain medications. Whether it was cancer, AIDS, arthritis or just addiction and abuse, I wish we knew so there could be some type of understanding why this man is gone at just 57 years old after what appeared to be years of healthly living. He deserves the right for people and the public to stop speculating as to why he is gone and to actually know why he is gone, not how but the why.

When he mentioned writing a memoir, I became worried. Yeah, I have seen people say many others have done memoirs, but this is Prince we are talking about. He liked mystery, he liked privacy and he liked to tease people about things. So, for him to come out and say he was writing a memoir, it seemed odd to me. Plus, he was simply too thin for the last year or so. I do not care what people say about him being thin when he was younger or saying his BMI was normal. Just really look at the photos, he did not look completely well, and no, it wasn't sudden aging. He did not look like death was knocking on his door, but he also did not look healthy. Some people with drug issues do not look healthy, but many of them look perfectly fine. I see numerous people every day who take pain medications and they look perfectly healthy, unless they have some underlying medical condition.

We need more information. Will we ever get it for Prince's sake?

So they must be getting near the point in the courts where this is resolved...sad that they let all this speculation go on for 6 months and they knew he was dying

Yes I remember the doctor that was here did too and was treated just like I was...seems we were right. Im saddened that Prince was sick and had to endure that alone...breaks my heart all over again.
