I talked to someone who is in Public Relations and she said most likely the ET interview with Tyka's statement about "two years ago" was a pre-agreed exclusive with ET, and that is why Tyka didnt mention this during her interview with Al Roker.

I was also told by the PR person it was most likely pre-negotiated that no follow-up question would be permitted by the interviewer after she made the "two year" statement.

Apparently, this is how show biz works. nuts

Addiction aside, Tyka knew for 2 years that he was dying?.. he left instructions on what he wanted done with PP... but didn't leave a will? It just doesn't add up. Not for a control freak like Prince. He managed his music with an iron fist.

And she said his death "wasn't hard at all" because she'd been ready for two years?! I didn't think my opinion of this woman could get any lower, but I was wrong.

I'm glad she did as well. It confirmed some of what I was feeling. There was a count down, and we had no idea sad . Better to know now than get up there (Mpls) and be smacked with the reality.

For the countdown, remember his last tee-shirts, some with phases of the moon and others with a countdown. A sign?

We ain't any closer to "the truth" than we were before.

Turned out 2 be a lie...
How will U know the Truth?

And U stopped 2 wonder why
But how will U know the Truth?"

if thats true Prince certainly trained her well of being mysterious lol

But all she is doing leave more unanswer questions and further distractions with little details,

the question is will fans accept her acting enigma like her brother did because she does look somewhat like Prince but she's NO prince.

I can believe that. One time I was watching CNN, there was a democrat party advisor waiting to be interviewed, and not realising she was on air, asked the waiting CNN reporter if she could ask her such and such a question. It was hilarious and toe-curling at once.

This is how the media works and I know Kevin Frazier was a big Prince fan so he may just wanted to end the speculation. Anyway if she is talking now others will soon. I want this bull that he was a dope head to end.

If it turns out that Prince did OD on purpose then I totally understand because it just another case of death with dignity. I am an atheist myself and yeah I was stunned and shock at first and it was hard for me to accept before I came terms to it and that goes for just about all of us regardless whether you believe or don't as I am trying to avoid making into a deep religious discussion. Yeah it can be harder for his religious fans to accept because this is the same man that constantly preached about his love for God and constantly talk about the bible and my sympathy goes out.

But at the end of the day, Prince was only human and I felt he did all he could to stick around. So please keep that in mind.

Actually, it could be easier for his religious fans to accept because they believe in an afterlife. Most atheists don't. Wearing my cynical cap, it's the ultimate houdini act. Why suffer in this life when you can escape to a better one in the hereafter?

It also contradicts her message in a recorded interview a week before, that immediately upon his passing she was 90% in denial.

I am going to choose my words very carefully. I realize that there is an investigation still going on, but I think I know what she may have meant with this revelation. When he told her that he thought his life was winding down, and he has done all he came to do, seems to illustrate to me that he may have begun to get tired. With that being said, I don't know if he had some kind of illness, but I think with everything that he had already accomplished, perhaps he just became thoughtful about all he had done in his life, and was becoming tired. To illustrate my point, I had a loved one in my family in the last years of her life mention another person who had passed away a number of years ago, and because she kept mentioning this person, after asking a family member about this, this person said she was becoming tired, and missed this person so much, that it was time for her to leave this earth.

I do not know if we will get any closer to the truth with this revelation, because she may not reveal anything she may have known, but I think with all that he accomplished in his life, including writing that final song and part of his tour, and preparing himself for his departure from this experience, I think he was coming to a revelation that he had done everything with the gifts God bestowed on him before his birth. But we all should be blessed by what he gave us.

Prince's Sister Tyka Nelson Gives Update on Late Singer's Will

He told all of us 2 years ago very clearly in Way Back Home. He told us again a year ago in June. It should not surprise us that he told those close to him the same thing. Somehow, this gives me some peace that he knew his fate and was preparing for it.

Yeah, I heard that too, all over AOA.

Later, in Black Muse, I hear remission. But I guess it didn't last. Yes, it's just a guess, but... broken

What exactly is the song June portraying? I read the lyrics over a few times and don't get it. Also in his lyrics

"Our bodies got used to each other
Now they're used to the sound
of Richie Havens' voice on the vinyl,
spinning round and round, round and round"

Richie Havens has a song called Freedom with similar lyrics to the song Prince played on the first piano and a microphone night "Motherless Child" "Sometimes I feel like a motherless child" Is this just a coincidence? The Motherless Child song to "Richie Havens on vinyl, spinning round and round, round and round"? He played this first I believe May 22nd, 1999 and talks about him being 12 years old,and his mom putting him out on the streets... Am I stretching?
