Not being in their market I haven't seen every Vikings game this year.

But I saw they were playing "Let's Go Crazy" after a Vikings score.

Then last night on MNF there was no music (that I could hear) after Vikings score?

Was this always just supposed to be temporary?

Did the estate press the Vikings on appropriating his music?

Anyone know?

P.S.

One of the commentators referred to the Vikings defensive line as the "Purple Rain" or "Purple Reign." Maybe the name will stick.

Probably the purple po po handed out a cease and desist. So then you don't hear no music. Youtube does it too.

Yep, heard it with my own ears during the game Sunday night against the Giants. The Vikings are 4-0, btw. Doing great so far this year despite all the injuries.

Jon Gruden was even wearing a Purple Reign t-shirt while talking about the Vikings great defense before the game.

Yeah, it must've been because I rewound the last touchdown and listened carefully and heard absolutely nothing. Were you there?
