There are many people still grieving over Prince's loss. We are not the only ones. That includes celebrities like Steve Wonder, The Roots, Sheila E, Mayte, Manuella, Van Jones, etc. They may not always speak about it publicly, but you can tell in their actions, they are still thinking about him.
I myself am still grieving. I drive home from work and look up at the clouds, trying to see Prince in the shape of a cloud, or search for a purplish cloud somewhere in the sky. I play his music from You Tube, every night before I fall asleep. Prince is my generation. He is the only musician I can say I have truly shed tears over.
Prince affected so many people. His loss is massive and he is so irreplaceable.
What angers me is that he was left alone after that near overdose on that plane. His inner circle should have known better, especially his best friend, Kirk and his siter, Tyka. My heart hurts over this, because if someone were there with him, he could still be here today. fan for life

Since April 21st, life has been really strange for me. I've had the luck of seeing him 3 times and have been a fan since the 1999 album. It goes without saying and is on par with everyone else's sentiments that he WAS the soundtrack of my life. At 39 years old, I can honestly say he is and always will be my role model, icon, and everything. As a child of the 1980's and a lover of music, seeing some of the big names of the decade pass (Prince, Bowie, MJ) has left a void.
His physical departure from this world was so sudden, so abrupt, and so unnerving that it still bothers me. What really hurts the most is that despite his imperfections, trials and tribulations over the years, we always loved him and as a person and he was the musical manifestation of LOVE. He was unapologetic in his declarations and for a shy kid growing up, seeing this dude (who was comfortable in his own skin), being himself transformed my life immensily. Looking back now, it was easy to take him for granted because he was always so available musically that it just seemed natural that Prince would always be there. In the grand scheme of things, April 21st is that watershed moment where the world just went upside down.
A great thanks to the Org for keeping his spirit alive. We all ache and threads like this are a nice way to let people who are hurting know they are not alone.

Sometimes I hear one of his songs and still feel quite sad at what happened. I'm really gutted I will never see him perform live.

. Very well said ComputerBlue <3 Speaking of Superfans, this lady loved her some Prince. She had one helluva Prince SWAG Collection. Makes my stuff pale in comparison. Did know where else to share these pics, but I thought they were pretty cool. . . But wait... there's more! . Sweet wind blew

I am sorry if this is posted somewhere else or in the wrong place.
I just fucking miss Prince so much. It seems silly sometimes, especially to others.
I just miss the hope of a new song or an appearance on TV. I just can't believe he is gone.
This latest hits package really sucks for true Prince fans.
