i actually did termite jobs with Terminix years ago, and the front of that Cathedral does look like its covered with massive termite mounds...very much so...what a creepy decrepit building...what type of demonry are they going to be partaking in, inside of that eye-sore? |

You know what I don't understand as a common criticism of Come? . People often say it's too short and was more like an EP. I see that thrown at it ALL THE TIME. . I just don't get that. The following albums are all shorter than Come in terms of length and that is *never* used against them:

Yeah, I see your point. My main problem with Diamonds & Pearls,  or The Gold Experience is that they're too long! But this was because of the CD age: you have 70 minutes on a CD, so let's fill them! But this led to albums that were too long and uneven. (And not only in Prince's case.)
I never had a problem with the old vinyl double albums like Sign O 'the Times, Blonde On Blonde, Exile On Main Street, because you could always see them as two seperate albums that still belong together... But a single album that goes on for more than an hour...it's just too much. [Edited 10/7/16 12:31pm] | |
