The Rolling Stone article about Opening of Paisley Park. http://www.rollingstone.c...le-w440966 //// I understand how the family feels but what would make them think that Trevor Guy could handle the back catalogue. The copyright issues alone require a attorney. I also find it very telling that Prince detailed plans for turning into Paisley into a museum. He knew the end was coming.

Intersting that he apparently put more thought into the legacy of PP than the legacy of his music

Come on, he planned it that meticulously and he didn't think time was short? He was only 57. Nobody details things in that way in the normal course of life.

Only 12 rooms open? Meticulous planning In December!! To whom exactly?
This is just well.. Bananas!! Doesn't look like much of PP will be open NAH JUST NAH!! Who got the will,STOP PLAYING [Edited 9/20/16 10:04am] ~Live Free ... I agree with you totally but it's just so strange that if he knew time was short, why didn't he prepare a will. He was just concerned about Paisley Park and not all of the other affairs? I just don't understand it.

Cool, however, I may wait until they start have concerts to visit. ..Hello, who is it?
Yes, this is a prettyman, Princey!

Why are we assuming he was only planning for opening PP because he knew he was dying or something? Why couldn't he open it while he was still alive? Paisley Park is in your heart

Sounds like propaganda to justify or market the museum. His emails and notes probably refer to the many different tours that he has authorized in the past.

Sheila E said the day after he died he had collected stuff to put in the museum. In addition, if sent e-mails out to people don't you think those people would have copies?

I think that he belived he would be alive to see it opened but I also believe he had serious illness going on just the fact that he would tell so many people about it and the whole conversation he had with Apples. I think he just ran out of time to get other affairs in order.

They found a secret room, and then a notebook with tens of songs. Whoever drew up a will - if still alive - would have to reveal it to the court. But what if Prince had multiple secret hiding places in the building, and they all haven't been found yet? Wouldn't that be something?

I'm in tears reading this - but he definitely was planning his legacy and for him it was about PP - and allowing people to be a part of it.

. Exactly. . None of this information even suggests that he was dealing with an illness or knowledge of impending death, let along offer anything remotely approaching hard evidence or proof.

After reading this article, I am more convinced than ever that he left behind a last will and testament. The only question in my mind is this: What happened to it?

It's good to know Paisley Park is going to continue operating along-side the tours.

I liked the part that said Susan Rodgers had been contacted and she had recieved mails from fans saying they didn't want the unreleased music to be altered. The message is clear. Release that stuff like it is. That's the best way to keep his memory alive.

The other thing is they have what none of us have: emails and instructions from the man himself. I'm sure they will be making plenty of judgement calls too. As fans though we're probably not going to really know which was his instruction and which was someone else's. And people who are naturally skeptical and cynical of those running the estate (or his family) will assume anything they don't like is something he wouldn't have wanted. Paisley Park is in your heart

The legendary dove cages in the lobby will also remain, I like this but in a way I feel sorry for the doves, "who in the heck are all these people".
