Plant some purple tulips I am planning my personal memorial to Prince next April by planting as many purple and white tulip bulbs as I can in my garden this fall so they will flower around mid-April next year. I've just bought some purple tulips and I'm going to plant them 
I love the purple tulip idea! And I also have planted lots of purple flowers this year!
Also, somone else on the org suggested planting purple tulips at PP. Letting people purchase a bulb and plant it for an ongoing sea of purple tulips. I loved the idea. Hope they set that up! "Put on your boots Alfred...let's go!" | |

Of course we landscaped a lot this year, and many, many flowers and bushes happen to be either purple, pink or yellow, but hey, everytime I planted purple I thougth of him! Tulips are my favorite flower! So I love the purple/white tulip idea!Thanks guys! Lets post pics next year!I'm a florist and have been doing purple flowers, astromeria, orchids, hydranga in honor with a prayer when I install,as far as planting goes bouganvilla is fabulous and climbs! Purple hyencynch ( smells yummy ) lavender , and the old beauty of lavender Lilacs. Check to see if your zone can accomadAte these special species! Plant with love and watch them bloom each year💜 | |

There are also some plants called "Purple Rain" for example Rosa "Purple Rain" or Plejone "Purple Rain" ( it is orchid). I've got them in my garden | |
