I always thought it was used as part of his wardrobe. It may have been used for that, but I can only speculate he used his cane for when he was having troubles or having it just in case he needed support when walking or in case he was going to fall down.

looking at that pic of him in orange it is very obvious that something was wrong Prince was sick with something. But nursev is so right- he is fine, fine, fine---- always--- no one like Prince.

Later he might have needed it, so it was good that it was already part of his wardrobe, but lately I've noticed that he was very active on stage til the end. i ordered myself a cane to support me during the times my legs wanna act up. i thought i was too cute to have one for the longest and then i thought, pffftttt, why not Prince rocked it. of course, i aint no Prince and I am also a woman, so u know what i mean. lol.

sounds like me.....same thing w me. if i take my meds, for the most part you won[t know i've had 10 spine surgeries. and i've been hard headed about using a cane when my legs wanna give out bc i've got perm damage to my spinal cord from the compression for so long. i pay for it at the end of the day as well. or i'll end up trupping and falling b/c my foot drags or gives out. not good. lol so i sucked it up and ordered one just in case so i don't fall
