Are you talking about the acoustic guitar and vocal only version, about 5:21 in length?

If so, yeah, it's cool, but goes on too long. It's like a bunch of Lennon's home recordings in that he seems to be trying to teach himself and/or maybe even write the thing as he goes. So while I like the general sound of it--and think a properly done version of this arrangement would have been a nice release sometime, it's an outtake I rarely listen to.

If you're talking about something that just leaked, I'd be really interested to hear more.

i liked it better than the overproduced album version. yes, i know it's incomplete, still it's a great treat to hear his falsetto in that kind of form, and without effects and gadgets to manipulate it.

I've always loved it too..I actually like it just as much as the GB version. The echoey vocals and guitar really fit the song.

If you like that you should definitely check out the Diamonds and Pearls tour live version, which was also acoustic. Still one of my favorite Prince live moments.

Possibly my favourite bootleg ever. Spine tingling vocal floors me every time. (I suspect that a fan has looped the recording to make it longer)

another great things is how you cannot miss the fact that here was a guy who grew up in church like so many of our great musicians.
