Actually I have a baby due in Novemember and my wife has agreed to Prince as a middle name, mainly because the little one was conceived the night of the show at the Sydney Opera House. Boy or girl, it don't matter no more. | |

Girls names are easier when it comes to linking back to Prince... like a PP the first to come to mind for a girl is Zannalee but I also like Aurora (the dawn).
Since you specifically mentioned boy names, have you considered Victor? I mean that particular song is heavy, however, in the end 'he wins'. Listen to me closely as the story unfolds

Thank you everyone for your warm wishes!!! It's been a very surreal year (like for most of you I'm sure)
Our first daughter's name is Frankie (no particular prince reference just love the name Francesca/Frankie) even though I do now recall and 'Turn it up frankie' or is that 'serve it up frankie' at the beginning of 2nigsunitedforwestcomptom? Frankie is 3 and I have been playing her prince music along with all of the best music by all the greats since she was born. She loves prince so much.. strangely for us though prince died on the same day as her birthday.. and then we conceived shortly after trying for two years. It was all very emotional. Frankie made a small memorial for prince with some cantelope seeds in the garden for him. If we have a girl.. we already have the girl name 'Pearl'  that's why I was mainly asking for a boy name idea.. Id like Alexander but my partner is not keen on that name.. maybe I'll see if he likes Victor ...thank you all so much xx[Edited 9/20/16 6:49am] i am watching you prince |

This is the route we took, with the middle name Parker (for Dorothy and Maceo) and so he ended up with the initials NPG. If you've got funk, you've got style. | |

Boy or Girl: Dakota. He owned a property on Dakota (street/avenue) and he had a great performance at the Dakota Jazz Club. And yes, I'm partial to that name. My middle child's name is Dakota, but at the time I didn't realize there was a Prince connection to the name. It means "friend, ally", and Prince considered his fans to be friends/family. | |
