Princes neighbor in Canada talks about him http://www.kiss925.com/au...neighbour/
I hope the link works. It was an interview on Kiss. She said he grew herbs and gave her a flower pot that she is holding onto. She said he was very private and loved the sound of children laughing. The neighbors kids were jumping on a trampoline next door, and kids ran to their mom and said Prince peeked his head over the fence and said he liked hearing them laugh. It worked, and it was touching to hear the part about Prince enjoying the sound of laughing children.
Thank you for the link | |

Thank you! Loved this. Can you imagine Prince peeking his head over your fence? We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . . | |

Indeed I can "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15 | |

I haven't listened to the interview yet but I'm pretty sure you meant trampoline. But this made me picture Prince throwing a bunch of tambourines to the kids like he used to do at concerts. Gimme some horns ... uh! | |

Very cool. Interesting that he shared with the neighbors that he didn't drink alcohol. I'm curious how that came up... Paisley Park is in your heart

Nice. Those type of stories I like to hear. | |

seriously though, at the end of the interview, when she says "i'm keeping the flowerpot that

Umm if Prince were my neighbor? And he peeks over the fence even just once? I'm gonna have to quit my job so I can hang out in the yard 24/7. So it's a good thing we were never neighbors "Dive inside your soul if U wanna know, the light inside the darkness forever glows" (Prince, 1958 - Eternity) | |

I am kind of shock his Canadian house was more accessible and was in a residental neighborhood. I thought he would live in acres. | |

probably offering him a beer, people offer me alchohol all the time and I constantly have to tell them I don't drink, being a musician, people assume you drink and drug. Prince did drink in the 80's and the 90's if the books i've read are correct, he was pretty much a teetotaller, or at least that was his image until the unfortunate events in april. | |

I find the stories of his interactions with children so sad. I lost my own baby boy just after P lost Ahmir and I still look at children born at the same time and wonder who he would have been now. | |

I can't even. The world is a tough place. Being a good person doesn't shield you from harm or guarantee kindness or rewards in return. Unfortunately, some of us are raised to believe otherwise. | |

----- There are lots of these stories about him being a cool guy and much more down to earth then the mainstream media makes him out to be. | |

Dude said, "He lived up Bridal Path". Didn't P put that in Call My Name? And part of Musicology was recorded there? Interesting. He would often write lyrics about his current residents, would he not? Come back Prince, I miss u, bro... klick | |

I wonder where the rest of the interview is? This is just a couple snippets from it. We donβt mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |
