Prince was also the final person on screen for the primetime emmy awards' memorial tribute tonight. I didn't expect to see him. Then I thought there might be a chance once Bowie showed up. He was on screen for 3 seconds. He threw a kiss and bowed. It was very touching.

I found a link where you can see the "in memoriam" shown at the Emmy Awards. When they showed Prince at the end I just burst into tears

I'm grateful to the people of Minnesota. It is so comforting and uplifting to see the way they respect, honor and embrace Prince even before he passed and it continues.

I agree. This one felt completely genuine and with no pretense -- just love and respect from his home state, and honoring his memory and contributions. It was beautiful.
