There was a thread a few mnths back - 'Did Prince actually live at Paisley Park' - reply #13 has a link 2 an article with pics of the house. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

"He never touched alcohol." Uh, was she in the house? It's a big fucking house - was she peeping in? She sounds like every other generic soundbite out there. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Well he declined her offer for a drink so she is just going by what he said to her. We know he did not allow people to bring alcohol into Paisley Park or sell any at the parties. As a JW he should not have been drinking and I remember him saying in interview once that he had a problem with alcohol but Larry Graham had helped him with it. He could have beat his issue and really did not drink.

HTF does a sensitive soul like this...alone?
I can't even. I remember early on when I first became a fan, one of the things that intrigued me about him was his sensitivity. This side if him I found extremely endearing and some of my respect for him is because of this. I thought, wow, he understands, he's so cool and so sensitive at the same time. I used to call him Mr sensitivity when I spoke about him to a fellow fan. We loved him a lot. We can't turn the clock back or undo the things that have happened, we just have to learn to somehow accept them. I know how you feel. [Edited 9/16/16 7:59am] Baby, you're a star.

It is also around the time Larry was hanging around. I doubt it was anything serious but maybe enough for him to ban alcohol from Paisley Park. Drugs and drink can ruined a singing voice and we know right up to his last performance there was nothing wrong with his voice. I honestly believe he had pain and no one thinks that taking meds for a real reason will turn into anything addictive.

I'd be sleep-deprived and with no income, on the road to bankruptcy and homelessness. Utter destruction is what we're talking about But hey, I would have gotten a pretty good chance of seeing Prince! Priorities! "Dive inside your soul if U wanna know, the light inside the darkness forever glows" (Prince, 1958 - Eternity)

What I admired about Prince he demand to have his boundaries very well. He tell people not to take pictures of him and also no alcohol and at his parties. And people still respect his rules. Prince taught me that most times people disrespect you when you allow them to.
I am studying the likes of Prince, Janet Jackson, and anita baker of how to live their life privately especially them being stars.

The comment about the children broke my heart. Kevin Smith said Prince danced with his toddler daughter at PP. If he was afraid of losing another child to a birth defect, why didn't he adopt? There are plenty of children who needed good homes. I suppose his exes know why, but he would have been a wonderful father. [Edited 9/16/16 11:58am]
