Prince and Glasses

So i'm new here and haven't found anything on this...

We've all seen Prince wearing what look like prescription glasses throughout his life..

I was wondering if he was wearing them just as a cool gimic or if he really needed them? And does anyone know if he was short sighted or longsighted?

I'm a speccy so seeing guys i'm into, especially like Prince, kind of makes me feel better about myself and i love knowing how they see..are they like me or?

i think prince liked the nerdy look because he was such a nerd at heart. the sott glasses is the first time I saw him with what look to be prescription glasses, who knows if he needed them or not. He was brilliant with his constant image changes though.

I think you're right. I'm not sure he needed them either, but he was pretty cute wearing them.

You can usually see at least a little distortion in the lenses if they're prescription, I think his were just for fashion (or a verrrrry light prescription).
