National Recording Registry

Any musical work included in the registry reflects an important societal influence in the United States.

"Purple Rain" was included in the annual list a couple of years ago, but nominations for future inclusions can be made. What additional songs from Prince would you like to see included in the future? Only 25 musical works are selected annually.
