The First Prince Fan Club: THE NEW BREED So back in 1985....I became a Prince fan. In doing so, I joined the first Prince Fan Club called the New Breed. Since his passing, like most of us, I was going through some treasures of the past 30 years. I will be uploading many of the newsletters soon...Here is a preview:

That is awesome! Can't wait to see this. I've never seen this stuff. I still have the little card that came with the SOTT album... somewhere.

I have a New Breed Fan Club membership card around here somewhere. Put it somewhere for safekeeping and haven't been able to find it in several years. I also have the poster you included here too but had completely forgotten that I had received it from the NBFC. | |

These items are so nice; thanks so much for sharing them with us. Made me smile on a not so great day. Wow... I had all of these items...what a trip down memory lane.... The posters I have with me, and the buttons too, but the NBFC correspondences have been packed away for years in New Mexico so it was so touching to read that interview with Lisa after so many years. I remember reading it when it arrived. I was so curious about him, read voratiously on him where I could find it. The feeling comes back looking through these. Wonderful post. Long overdue. | |

I was a member of the Controversy fanclub back in the early 1990s, but I never heard about the existence of The New Breed... The items you posted look great! It shows that there are still new things to learn in Princeland!
