There was a cat named Paisley, two doves (which may have bred at one point, I'm not sure), and some butterflies. And I know while he waz married to Mayte, there were at leazt two Yorkie dogz running around.

One was called Diamond and the other Pearl.

Here is a very cute pic of P with his dog (I'm assuming). This came to my Facebook and another one like it.

The fur by Prince's head waas his and Mayte's pet dog at the time.

That's not his dog. IIRC, those pics were taken at a manager's house or the photographer's house, for promotion. (The ones with a guitar, or sitting at a piano are from the same session & house.) The photographer told the story behind those photos, when they came out a couple of years ago or so.

I don't think this was P's dog. When I initially saw this photo, I think I read that the dog belonged to the photographer or the person whose home he was visiting.

I read somewhere he was an animal activist so I'm guessing he had a passion for animals.

P.S. I had a Yorkie like the ones he and Mayte had. Now I'm not saying they are all this way because they aren't, but mine was an asshole, and I LOVE all dogs. Cute as a button and would bite you in a heartbeat. He got in trouble for something one time (he was always getting in trouble as he was demon dog) and I was ironing my clothes in my bedroom after just having scolded him and little demon dog jumped up on my bed and turned around and LOOKED AT ME while he proceeded to hock his leg up and PEE on my PILLOW in my bed. Then he hauled ass and went and hid.

What an adoreable cat!!! I am a cat lover and a cat mother (the cat in my avatar is my baby girl). I'd love to know how she was as Prince's dance partner . And I love cat-inspired artwork on the wall. Thanks for posting this photo.

Paisley the Cat was cute!! You would think that Prince would have a nicer bowl for Paisley....I mean, it's "dirty"!! Did anyone ever bother to clean his bowl? Just saying.

um, I didn't say that about cats. I have like 6 indoor cats, feed several outdoor cats that live by us, and we have 5 outdoor dogs. I'm a crazy cat lady & a sucker for strays.
