Thanks, Laura!! Mrs. Anderson was from the ole school, when folks would step in if they saw a child in danger of falling through the cracks. This was before the days of being compensated for taking in foster children. And, Prince was perceptive enough to show up on their doorstep to ask for shelter from the storm that was his family life. Thank God he found a safe haven. |

I'm very grateful that Mrs. Anderson took in Prince and gave him the space and the freedom to pursue his interests. I've heard that P's mom and Dad were not exactly fully supportive of him. Mrs. Anderson made a huge difference, and her kindness echoes to us because we get to enjoy the music.
