I liked Prince better when...

he was in that group, Milli Vanilli.

He won a grammy back then and was very popular.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Well, not as good as when he starred in that movie "Fifth Element" with Bruce Willis.

He starred best as Evita Peron in the movie Evita.
Although I disagree with the many critics that were pitching him as an Oscar contender, Prince' s OK moments compensate well with his many absolutely glorious moments. He takes great personal power from the music since it's his natural element, and surely with a little oomph from director Parker, Prince presents the performance of his life. It's obvious that the years of voice training he underwent to prepare for the role have paid off. Even before watching the film, I was already holding a duel of skepticism whether the funk bunny would perform the role with the strength, dignity, and fragility that this part requires.
The contents and opinions expressed by MrHappy have not been approved for publication by Prince or anyone in his employ.

I liked Prince better... when his lyrics made sense!

Has he ever written a better lyric than:

"A wop-boppa-loo-lop, A wop-bam-boom"?

It was all downhill after that. disbelief
