Which Prince Song(s) do you wish had music videos? Hi everyone! So I am not ashamed to say that I am a new Prince fan due to the fact that I unfortunately did not grow up with his music,and as a 90s girl, the radio I heard did not play his music so I felt very upset when he passed because he's one of the greatest musicians and I barely experienced that while he was here. However, I'm so thankful that music lives forever so I've been listening to his catalog through Tidal non-stop for months and I'm so in love with a lot of his music post-Purple Rain. His videos were also so fun and creative in 1990s-and on but there are some songs I just wish he made videos for so here is my list and please feel free to post your own list as well!
1. Revelation 2. Ripopgodazippa (and yes I'm old enough to know what this song is talking about lol) 3. So Dark 4. Mr. Goodnight 5. U Know 6. Crazy You (Would've been nice to see a video of him singing with his afro at that time lol) 7. I would have liked a music video for Forever In My Life (and a release - the live SOTT version is EPIC!! Also would have been fun to see a IIWYGF video that is NOT the live SOTT version. Hmmm what else... Cool - wish he had released it on a more recent album WITH a music video - I mean, he started singing it on stage, it would be made a great single. Maybe re-release D.M.S.R with a music vid too.

If I Was Your Girlfriend. The studio version. No, I'm not counting the concert movie clip as a official music video. God damn, that would been an iconic video, and pushed the song into infamy. I'm just picturing a controversial video. Don't know why really. Just have some nasty thoughts in my head. | |

I could envision the video for "Pop Life" being somewhat influenced by The Beatles' "Penny Lane" vid with P & members of The Revolution walking around with "psychedelic" things happening during it...Or something like that. Idk, since it was already a Top 10 hit without a video, it could've propelled ATWIAD ever further possibly. Other tracks I could've imagined a video for include "Beginning Endlessly", "Love", "U Know", "$" (from LotusFlow3r) & "Dance 4 Me". Exiles of the Nation

Ooh! I would love to see that too. They have that 'lyric' vid. Even a music videro Another Love - but not the current one that is similar in style to the funknroll one. I am sure there are a heap of others but can't think of them at the moment. Dance where y'are, just groove y'all.
