cool ideas I was thinking something chronological would be interesting. I had a vision of a group of his proteges singing a haunting a capella "for you" to begin (or end) the concert. I wonder how many voices that would require to do that song live just like the recording. Things that would pleasantly shock me most: Aretha could sing "nothing compares..." and we would see Bria per4m live My biggest hope is that Stevie and Janelle will play. Obviously all the band members. Just about any1 he worked with would be cool. Martika, Taja, Nik West, Harts, Andy, Judith, Liv, Esperanza, King, Lizzo, Cindy L, Santana A lot of great dancers -- Misty, Mayte, Twinz, etc. If Joni was present, wow. I'm sure thousands of artists would love to contribute, and it would be cool to see a few faces less familiar in the purple world. Glad that Mint Condition and the Time are confirmed. Would love to see Sheila but she's already done so much for him this year, I can understand if she's 'tributed out' for this year. In a way I could see how some of the artists he worked with might shy away from some televised tribute that could be seen as a promotion for the artists involved. But if any1 deserves something big, Prince deserves a big celebration of his life to be seen by a lot of people.
