What's up with the balloons? Just watched footage of the last show Amsterdam on YT. After finishing Purple Rain, he leaves the stage but then comes back holding a whole lot of purple and white balloons and let go of them to watch them go up. Just keep watching 'till the very end. Does anyone know if he did this before in other shows? 'cause you got to know...how I feel about you babe | |

yep he did this at many , if not all of the 3EG gigs. There was always meaning in what he did...too obvious I guess that it meant 'letting go' of something? | |

Ah, thank you for your reply Was wondering about the balloons, never noticed it before. I also thought that it was about letting go. Watching the footage to me it felt like he was releasing himself (purple balloons). It was the last time he visited the Netherlands. 'cause you got to know...how I feel about you babe | |

Prince relased doves at the outdoor Miami FL Purple Rain concert back in the 80s on Easter Sunday. Don't think that he could release doves in an indoor arena..."Divinity, Prince's Dove Friend." Anyway, thinking on the lines, "In my Father's house, there are many mansions." Prince invited Amsterdam to his house during the concert here and we all know his house was/is Paisley Park. "Paisley Park is in your heart....admission is easy, say you believe...." Seems like an invitation to all of us to rejoin someday or sometime when we meditate and go to the peaceful, blissful place in heaven called Paisley Park. So, I connect Doves/balloons to Paisely Park/Prince's piece in Heaven. I AM sure hoping that we all see it.
