I was wondering if her network aired a Prince story today. The majority of the topics in the Prince forum are narratives from his "associates" (i.e. Appollonia, Judith Hill, Jill Jones", so not sure why a possible story about his death looks so displaced all of a sudden when there are thread topics in here asking people how old they are. I didn't mean here on the org, I've been reading comments elsewhere. I was kind of wondering myself, why is she sharing this, but she is a journalist so I guess one puts themselves out there like that.

Well she could be trying to help breakdown some of the stigma of therapy and addressing mental health concerns. |

*inserts applause* Someone gets it. I was wondering if she was discussing his death on air today since she made this comment about something so personal. I know she called in the show back when it initially happened, but I hadn't heard her mention anything publicly since then. |

I am glad she got some help because I was concerned after he asked her to come to him and she didn't go. After he passed maybe it crossed her mind that he could have been reaching out to her for something more than what she thought. It has to be affecting her that she did not go to him.
I don't believe that it was an exaggeration that they talked every day. He called in to the Today Show and pretty much confirmed it, even telling her what to wear and how to do her hair.
Even on vacation he kept up with her.....

Poor lady. The coulda, shoulda, woulda is probably getting to her and she may need help with survivors guilt.
I know if it were me I would be beside myself if someone I love had a near death experience days before and I didn't drop everything and go when they called me. I would definitely need help getting over that.

That instagram post is from somebody who was with her on vacation and witnessed it but I was never one to believe that he didn't own a cellphone and didn't text though.

Prince said he went to studio rehab as well. I wonder who conducts those, rehabs for musicians who stay in a studio too many hours. R they costly? What kind of background or experience do you need to be a studio rehab counselor. |

Great topic... I hope she continues to heal. Prince was loved by so many. I fervently wish that he knew that, and hearing of how he used to speak with her for hours gives me hope that he had happy moments through all the pain. I'm thrilled that he had a close friend by him even if she wasn't able to save him, and at least she bought him some happiness for a time. |
