I have done extensive research on the album version of this song, and I am unable to conclusively say how...authentic... his vocal stylings were during the spoken interlude. And his liner notes from The Hits do not help much:

If Drake had a clue he would be able to make decent music. One of his songs came on the radio today and I had to switch over to my phone and play some Ohio Players just to get that noise out of my head. Larry should disown him.

I decided to investigate further. My bad. In the comments, someone suggested to google Jean Paul Goude Hispanics 1975 for a photo of the 3 with their faces. So I did. It's "Miguel and 2 Friends #2". Well, it's not Prince for damn sure and, yeah, Prince was only 17 then. It's not just faces you'll see if you google. Damn, my eyes!
