The tipoff to me is the way he talked about the energy transforming into a different kind of energy focused on something else. The way he worded it I truly believe that he was speaking from experience, not from something he read in a book. He'd experienced that kind of shift. And that's okay. It actually fits his personality. It fits that he would try celibacy as a single man in his 50s, given his interest in spiritual unions (with God and others). But he pretty much admitted that it was a struggle he didn't always master.

I'm very proud of him because as sexy as he was and most likely with hot folks throwing themselves at him 24/7/365, despite what some would see as insurmountable odds, he looked at his life and decided he wanted to see if he could conquer his libido. And he did it publicly, no shame. That is commendable in my book, regardless of any backsliding. He was on his grown man.

That is sexy.
