Good luck to anyone applying. I do hope they pick some fans at least to do the tours. Would be so much nicer to have people there with a passion for P.

I feel the same as you benni. To me, Paisley Park is Prince, and he's what comes to mind whenever I see it. I just wouldn't want to work there, with him as a daily reminder who's no longer here, or no longer a part of Paisley Park.

I live in Minneapolis and not too far from Paisley Park. I have hesitated to apply but maybe I will consider in the future would an open position emerge.

I would totally apply if I lived closer. A 4 hour drive to work is a little out of my way. razz

They are not giving any job description which makes it difficult for those who already have a career but who could use an opportunity.

I might apply down the road as I only live a couple miles from PP. I want to see how this all pans out first.

I would apply as well, but I don't live there. Maybe at another time.

Good question! I googled it and it seems it is someone expert in ecology and willing to promote the philosophy to members. I am not saying by any means this is the description of the position they are seeking.

I couldn't do it now.

Visiting will be hard enough, although I want very much to go and will.

Anyway, Paisley park is in my heart.

Exactly. It's like how these days janitorial/cleaning positions are usually called "environmental control" or "environmental services" workers.

-

The only position I am unsure about what it likely is, is 'catalogue associate'. But even the other positions don't give a description about what the job/s involve, or what skills or training might be needed or helpful.

-

I want to apply, but I'm old(er) and haven't worked in years so I doubt I'd even have a chance amongst the slew of other applicants.

Catalog associate -- I'm thinking clerical - filing - labels -- etc all seem like entry level positions

I'm seriously considering this. The first thing I thought when I heard about the tours is I should try and get a job there!

I assumed that would be someone who handles catalogue (i.e., Internet/mail) orders.
