Is there an album you can't stop listening to since his passing?

First off, sorry if I am bringing more pain by even bringing this topic up.

Is there an album or song you can not stop listening to, or an album you can't stop listening to since he took his love away?

For me, it's 'Black Muse' and the last song (Dirty Mind)I listened to before waking up and seeing that horrible message that he was gone. I can't listen to his 80's material anymore as I feel so sad whe I hear it.

Your thoughts?

Agreed, like Queen's 'Innuendo', there is something about it that says it's near the end sad

Art Official Age. I regard it as a farewell to us all. "Way Back Home" is where he was, before he was born. He calls himself Mr Nelson and not Prince. He remembers his parents and thanks them for bringing him up. It all sounds like a closure. This album is also the reason why I think he knew he was slowly dying. His pain-inducing illness (whatever it may be) was incurable and he had to live on opioids and knew he had to increase the dosage day by day and one day he'd be gone.

So many hours later and I finally notice the implication of that title...

Coincidentally... Not conspiratorially...

Art Offical Age...I just love "Clouds" it uplifts my spirits...it is hard to listen to "Way Back Home" though...I find myself skipping it not because I don't like it..but because it is too heavy for me right now.

All of them. i still struggle to listen to anyone else right now. Tried to get knee deep into Frank Oceans album, but went right back to Prince.

I really can't deal with much of his recent output. So I always go pre-1997. There is on one album for me, it's just that first half of his career that is so great. It's such a journey to get from For You to Around The World In A Day, or Parade to Batman. Such interesting trips one can take.

I've listened to Parade so much in the last four months, which in itself isn't that rare for me as it's probably my most listened to Prince album over the decades, and so it being my 'go to' album right now makes sense.

What's more surprising is how many times I've found myself listening to the Batman album. I liked it okay at the time, but It's never been in heavy rotation for me as the years went by... until now.

I've barely listened to Prince at all since April. Honestly it still hits me every now and again that he's gone and I'm dumbstruck all over again. Like I'm fine coming here and shooting the breeze, but hearing his voice is still quite raw. #realtalk.

H&R II

I haven't been able to listen to anything before the 90s. I heard LRC on the way to wrk yesterday and nearly rear ended someone for being so distracted and the tears. It doesn't feel like a gut punch anymore, but i dostill burst into tears. I have stayed away from the Rev reunion threads. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch PR again.
Im rambling....

I keep going back to Lovesexy. I'm basically listen to everything, all periods, jumping around, but this one I keep coming back to most often. Has always been a favorite and it's comforting to me I suppose.
