Ok, so this is a first hand account, right?
His chef said he stomach problems and throat problems in the last couple of months, so it comes as no surprise that he looked this thin. Probably not eating much or not keeping it down.

Why are you so desperate to prove he "looked fine" mere days after he overdosed on pain meds and nearly died and days before he died of this addiction? It's like, who cares if he "looked fine," that doesn't make any of this better. Maybe respect the opinions of people who can see the fact that he was suffering and had lost a lot of weight, let alone the sparkle in his eyes.

Photo of basketball .game with Demaris is from 3/16. P looks terrible in that InTouch photo. Having had a relative and his girl friend live with me that were bothheroin addicts..they never got to the point of skin and bones....ever and both had quite a large habit going on. he GF worked as a stripper...do you think she could have held a job looking like that? Hundreds of dollars a day. Based on my personal experience with that, I'd say something else was going on with P. Good point on if one's days are numbered, would they care how much money they spent...I'd know I wouldnt...I'd do whatever the f I wanted to do...including reminding people how much I loved them or tell them for the first time that, and try to right my wrongs.

If Prince was still with us, nobody would look at these pics and see anything wrong. You are all taking the narrative that was handed to you, a very suspet one filled with a ridiulous amount of holes, and forcing it onto all these pics from the last days.

I feel like he definitely looks thinner. Not deathly thin.... but thinner than say 3 or 4 years ago. But being in pain can ruin your appetite. Doesn't necesarily mean he had some fatal illness. If the hip problem he had is true.....that can be excruciating. And no, you don't want to eat. And combine that with pain killers, a crazy schedule, and what his normal daily life was like...yea, he'd most likely lost some weight.

Also, most of the pictures people are commenting on about him looking "deathly ill", "so frail", etc etc...are the ones where he has the big afro. I think that just adds to his already petite frame. Hair style can make a WORLD of difference in may ways. If he had his older "sleek" style of hair, I don't think he would look so thin. That hair just throws all perception off in my opinion.

I just feel like people are complicating it. I don't think there was a fatal illness he was hiding, I don't think he was a "junkie", and I don't think he wanted, let alone knew he was going to die. I believe he was taking pain killers...probably for a LONG time....for pain. Not for a high. And as any human, famous or not, does.....you become immune. You increase your dosage, change medication, etc etc. Being who he was, I'm sure the last thing he wanted was a prescription in his name for any kind of opiod. He knew how the celebrity thing worked, in most cases, you'd be labled a junkie if any tabloid found out. Even if you were taking them legitamitely.

The only thing I know is if his inner circle cared as much as they say, someone should have put their foot down and gotten him some help. He called the shots in his life and it seemed that no one could tell him what to do. But what about Larry Graham? Prince worshiped him. He's one that comes to mind that I feel could have maybe stepped in and done something. And don't even get me started on the relgious beliefs that I feel made some of this snowball YEARS ago.....

Just like beauty....it's all in the eyes of the beholder on whether he looked fine or ill. All I can say for sure is in the pics from his last Saturday eve gig....I can see the love in the audience faces. Great to see and hope P could see it too.

A photo (especially from a gossip magazine) can't be reliable.

However from everything I've seen, it does seem as though he was thinner than usual at that weight.

And that happened rapidly too. There is no denying.

exactly...everybody in the pic are looking not like "oh it's Prince" but like something is wrong with him. Definitely some physical illness going on.

At his height, 112 pounds isn't too thin if we are basing it on the healthy BMI recommendation. Sure, he's on the lower end of the scale, but still well within it. I know it's human nature to look into things to see if there were signs after someone passes, and I'm not saying there weren't signs, but his weight alone isn't necessarily indicative of a problem.

I was there that night and there was a guy with a full dslr camera with a longer lens taking shots. He had it hidden in a bag but I was shocked he wasn't thrown out. I once saw him pull it out pretty much in view of Prince and security in the NPG Music Club. I have a feeling this is one of his shots and I am sure there are plenty more where that come from.

Were your relative and his girlfriend in withdrawal? It does not sound like they were. According to some reports, Prince was trying to detox himself and he went into withdrawal, which explains the weight loss and flu like symptoms. From my understanding of drug alcohol abuse/ addiction, a person stops getting high from their drug of choice and need to continue to take it just to feel normal. When they stop taking the drug, they go through horrible withdrawal symptoms, which is why addicts oftentimes want to stop using but can't because going through withdrawal too difficult.

If he had lost 1 more pound, he would have been below his recommended BMI.
