Felt pressure from fans to keep churning out hits? Looking back over the years I think sometimes the Org was a bit unfair to him eek I mean what he put out was never enough for us and some orgers let him know that daily neutral U think he felt the pressure of being the last great musician we had and maybe that contributed to all this somehow? Be honest eek Or do you think he just took it all as it came?

I came across a comment from 2 /11/16 by an orger named kcoolmuziq . They stated we should stop picking Prince apart and appreciate him while he is still here. I don't know how to get back to that old post or back to that orgers page. It looks like his last post was on 4/ 20/ 16. I wanted to go through all his post. I woke up out of my sleep today and though, oh my God, what if that was really Prince.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

An angry long-term orger recently asked in a post whether I was kcoolmuzic because of my enthusiastic expression of love, after Prince's death, towards our beloved Prince. Some other orgers joined him in laughter.

Who was kcoolmusic and why all the negativity?

By the way, I began to express my deep appreciation towards Prince on here after his passing and never posted before...

I'm not sure who kcoolmuziq is, that's what I'm trying to find out. I don't know how to get to his page. I tried the search but it doesn't work.

I think he wanted hits, but on his terms only.

If the question is whether Prince tried to tailor his albums and shows to our comments, so long as they didn't conflict with anything he truly believed in, then the answer is clearly that he did.

Is that why he is gone though? Nah.

What about having to work until 65 and then with the possibility of little pension? Life's tough for everybody. And if you can't pay your mortgage then downsize. Live within your means.

Yeah, but you could at least have asked your husband to stay and deal with the Brexit crisis, Samantha.

I think a majority of the crowing came from him simply not pumping out albums every year or two since 2010. Some people are afraid of silence. Give it one year and they're like "oh, he's finished", and so make up the dead air with dark matter in the absence of anything better to fill the void.

.

Because there was clearly nothing better out there. Not even Oasis.

How sad for Prince...

Deep inside he may have wanted people to appreciate and express love towards his artistic endeavors and assumed this was one of the places where he may feel the love...

I think it may stem from this. I think not only Prince, but a lot of artists must have felt pressure from their fans to continue doing this, and trying to please everyone probably contributed to how many artists feel/felt from time to time.

I think so too...sometimes some of the comments on here were relentless and to think he saw all that. I know some of it had to stick with him eek

yeah. sad it makes me want to cry, knowing he read some of the heartless crap on here

It was heartbreaking to find out after Prince passed away that he may have read comments made on this site about him. Very sad indeed...
