Indifference video with 3rd Eye Girl I've just discovered this song (video) on Tidal and a lot of things are going through my mind right now. My initial impression was that it reminds me of Bob Dylan's music and I also find the bitter and derisive tone to be very similar to Bob's Positively 4th Street (although these two songs differ musically). I am also wondering who this song was written about, was it about a particular person or type of person, or even a group of people perhaps? Overall I think it is a good song but it just doesn't sound like the Prince I am used to, it sounds very negative and angry. Also it was recorded quite recently (Presumably in 2014) which makes me think Prince was possibly grudgeful about something or towards someone. Life Matters

it's a cool song. i wish it sounded a little bit more 'studio', so that i could just put it on the PLEC and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Anger is a part of life and the human experience. Why not express it in music. I like the song. Also, I like the goofy look he gives to his drummer which causes her to bust up.

I like it and I admit it's a bit Dylan-like, but only a little bit...

I love this song. There is a really great piano version of it from the 2nd Atlanta show. TRUE BLUE
