Yes, this one does make the spine (and other things) tingle. It was my Week2 screensaver, actually had a student notice this time and tell me 'Wow who's that?' I got to play a little extract of The Electric Chair for her...I think my job as educator is done for this week no matter that I have a lot more teacWhathing to do.

NO WAY What in the world are our children learning??? Here is the person who can out technique Eddie Van Halen AND Herman Li (of Dragon Force) and can out blues Eric Clapton. Eddie, Herman and Eric....love all you....but you're not the complete package. Saw Herman Li in a small club and yes, very impressive technique.

Now because he is living with me and I drive him most places, he has grown to better know Prince and even sings along to some of his songs.

Layla, agreed on all counts, though to be fair, she did recognize this image...said 'oh...it's the Purple Rain guy' which made me cringe but nod anemically...I gave her the funkatopia address and told her it was homework. I'll see her tomorrow and report back.

Sister, we're never empty, how can we be when we have Prince to fill us up...always, he left us with so much love! And our job is to share it...my mom (self-proclaimed Cher and Elvis fan) recently said 'convince me' and after a few songs we were dancing around the room. I even played a bit of Do Me Baby and she goes 'oh I remember this one' and got a far off look on her face. (You know the face) Convinced, and Converted. What we gotta have is compassion right?
