Yes, new details about Prince and Vanity are coming soon. Vanity's has a similar situation to Prince but she left a will. Some of Vanity's sisters are fighting with Vanity's best friend and Christian co-pastor of their church because Vanity basically left everything to her and gave her sisters some percentage to movie rights based on Vanity's Life. Do we have factual proof that him and her were still a romantic couple all of these years? If so then why did they not get married and live a long happy marriage? It makes no sense. If she loved him that much then why not get clean and marry the dude instead of "supposedly" they both living a life in earth in romantic unrest?...

I do not understand why people like yourself are so convinced that Denise was his true love. If she really was his true love, he would have found a way to make it work with her at some point in his life. What is your source for Denise and Prince having relations in 1994? Also, he was engaged to Sheila E. and then one of them called off the engagement; I think it Sheila E. who left the relationship (Source: http://www.nydailynews.co....1914774). However, Prince and Sheila E. remained friends until the end of his life.

There is a much better argument that Mayte was his true/deepest love. He wrote many songs for her and about her, especially on Emancipation and the Love Symbol albums. She is in many of his music videos. He had a child with her (and the death of their son was, according to Mayte, a major reason for the demise of their marriage). And then he was married to Mani for 5 years also. How could you possibly argue that Denise was his true love given these facts?

The proof is coming. All of your questions will be answered. A lot of Vanity's supporters will be validated. The women that were in Prince life before Vanity besides his Mother and the ones that came after her including the ones he so called married are all non-factors. His true loves were his music and Vanity. Prince may have loved the other women but he was inlove with Vanity. Take a closer look again at the wedding symbol of Prince and Mayte. He purposely incorporated a V in the symbol. The current symbol has a v at the bottom. YouTube has recording of the audio of Prince telling the pool story of him, Vanity and Big Chic when he was doing the piano and microphone tour. He sounds so sad. The real Prince came out that night.

The V is at the bottom of the love symbol because the V is at the bottom of the male symbol. In fact, it is the V at the bottom of the line that makes the male symbol the male symbol. It's really not that mysterious.

Thank YOU for all the pics you posted on the photo thread--I'm going to have to come back. It is great and a feel good thread. I think Vanity meant a lot to Prince...but so did other ladies. I think Prince was hit hardest by her passing away...just as I would be if one of the the most meaningful partners from my past was suddenly gone at a young age... But, I stand firm with my opinion that Prince's greatest and longest lasting love was his Purple Music--not any one person. Just my humble observation. That's besides his love of a higher power--"God."

And his being human and all, I believe he loved many women throughout his life. Some differently than others; some more than others. Like anyone who was single for a lot of his life.

My best instincts about Prince were right after 4/21 before my head got all complicated with everything else I for some reason keep reading...

I truly think that some people don't have just one so-called "soul mate." Even couples who have been married for over half a century like my late grandparents don't make the relationship last that long through some kind of romantic attachment. Something deeper and longer lasting takes it's place... Romance can come and go. People can have more than one "soul mate" in a life time. Just my opinion, but Prince no longer needs romantic attachments where he has gone--he is connected to everyone and everything in the great cosmos--which is The Greater Love, if you understand what I mean.
