instead of a public pile of vulgarities.

I thought the topic was fair enough at first, but it went down hill. Fast. Originally I (and the OP I'm asuming) wanted it to be a mature discussion of what Prince was possibly like in the bedroom. This is a site about Prince, and Prince having such a sexual image would make it a more likely topic to discuss rather than with anyone else. So I was thinking people were going to dicuss actual documented evidence of this stuff from stories from past associates, lyrics, imagey, stuff he's done on stage etc.

However people turned it into a 20 odd page long thread of smutty, gif riddled nonsense. No actual discussion was going on so I stopped checking the thread.

And to just put it out there: Prince allowed those pics of himself out there, he knew what was what and was completely fine with it. That's all I need to know.

I'm no prude and appreciate Prince for the sexy and talented man he was. However I also felt the thread deteriorated into a bunch of childish smut. Not to mention being disrespectful to the man. If Prince were alive would you feel comfortable with him reading that nonsense? I certainly wouldn't.

That's not the way to debate. The topic was Prince's habits and practices,
not an invitation for middle-age women to indulge in their vulgar penchants.
I would have find them vulgar if they were teen-agers as well,
but at least they would have the excuse of being immature.

As for the thread itself, like I said, it was plain pathetic, for pages and pages there were only 2 or 3 orgers, and a few like you applauding.

If you don't get that, and just wave your whatever U.S. amendment,
you're far from being an adult, even if your driver's license says so.

Lyrics, imagery, onstage Prince was included. Documented evidence and testimony from people who slept with P? Did you really think a thread would induce those who have it to come join the org for a bedroom thread? Seems a bit far-fetched. Left to appreciate the rest of what P gave us on the topic, we did just that . Sexuality defined Prince's image as much as his music. Kind of perplexing to think people would dismiss that part of P entirely.

What does a "mature" discussion about someone's sex habits that nobody here slept with entail exactly? In fact, I would find it in poor taste if someone came in here kissing and telling. That's what I call immature gossip. But thread participants? We were celebrating what P gave us. Gave you too, if you could only open your mind and accept P for who he was.
