The Bridge on "Stare" This song is funky, so simple, and yet sort of odd. The first time I heard the bridge ("while you and me walk into the past..... weeeyooooooo.......") the theatrics of that moment cracked me up. I sort of wondered if this was more demo than finished track. But I like it more with each listen.

It's very similiar to "We gets up", but with better production.

You mean the portion where it starts to fade out? I thought it was kind of like an absence of bridge... quite literally. Or what did you mean by the theatrics?
It does seem like a quickly produced song. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

It was the first song that really caught me on this album. I really love it!

Stare rocks, it was the subject of my fam jam earlier this year. . https://thedigitalgardens.com/2016/01/17/tane-mcmanusstare/ . Sorryblatantselfpromotion - because its about to go ham. . I think OP is taking about the guitar line at end, guess its a bridge, but for me, Stare is more that irresistable bass running all through, it is bass in your face. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

The part where the song faded out and came back in made me smile. I overlooked this song somehow the first time I heard HNR2 (don't know how!?!) but it quickly became one of my favorites off that album...especially "the bridge/non bridge!"
