A few people on Facebook are convinced it was Tyka, but I don't know.

It seems way too weird, out of the blue and nonsensical. I'm pretty sure she would of somehow had an idea of how the fans would of reacted to this without any proper signage as to who had made the tweet. She could of signed it as '-Tyka and family' or something.

A lot of Twitter accounts seem to have been hacked recently- seemingly from the Prince community too. Mine was gotten into somehow but I saved it before anything other than a profile pic and name change happened. However, someone I follow had theirs hacked and their account started posting porn and stuff.

No murder conspiracy about this one?

Whoever did this - please do not operate the account as if you were Prince. In fact, don't use the account at all. It has nothing to do with the shoes being filled, the lock on his persona is completely wrong and shows they don't know Prince whatsoever. Prince was full of complex contradictions, but he would never blatantly, directly describe himself as "the greatest ever" or somesuch. He might brag about his music prowess (within a song) but when it came to himself (directly) he seemed deeply shy about bragging. In recent years the man was very clear with others - he didn't want his face photographed.

Well someone just blew it big time because that's just crystal clear evidence that someone other than Prince had access to his Twitter account and could have very well been actually "tweeting" as Prince all along.

Please do not F**ck with me with this stuff. Don't know what the intention is and maybe someone thinks they are doing something nice, but it's weird and painful. I am trying to cope and mourn. Stuff like this is not helpful.

I woke up to find this in my notifications on my phone - it was a real shock when that was one of the first things I saw when I opened my eyes.

They really shouldn't do things like that.

I'm not sure about that. I know someone who was with him personally when he sent out the "COOLEST OF COOLS" tweet. I'm pretty sure he did them all himself. You can't fake that bizarre style and why would you?
