I've seen it too. Princes body guard Chick carries him down to the stage on his back. At that time Prince wasn't well known, and James Brown I don't think quite got what was going on. He does his Prince thing, shirt off, etc.. goes to leave, and knocks over the street lamp prop. Yikes! ..Hello, who is it?
Yes, this is a prettyman, Princey!

I once saw a video where a space station the size of a small moon destroyed a planet. Sometimes things you see on video aren't all they seem... RIP

Was that the same night as the clip I saw where P is shirtless in lace pants, running up the aisle of what looks like an awards show, Chick is trying to keep up with him and as P passes people sitting in the audience reach out to pat him?
I honestly thought all these years that P planned going off the stage by using that prop lamp to sorta swing by it cuz he landed pretty smoothly. I think MJ was hoping to embarrass P. I think he felt threatened by P. I think part of P wanted inclusion into the "big boy celeb" club early on, but I think that incident made him stronger and able to stay out of any public/media perceived "MJ shadow". The public/media seemed determined to use P the way they used Donny Osmond when MJ was a teenager, like a "contrast/compare" thing. Every time I turned around P was being offered ways to pair up with MJ. I'm so glad P never allowed the public/media to squish him into that mold. [Edited 8/30/16 23:54pm]

Just a few insider's jokes, that's what happens on a fan forum. Although I have to admit, Prince's voice does sound a little different on Peach, so I can understand a newcomer wondering if it's really him.
