A while back I started that 'every day things that remind U of Prince' thread...lately it seems damn near everything somehow reminds me of Prince - really missing him. Plus I could use some distractions.
.
Thought maybe I'd see if anyone else finds almost everything relating back to Prince and if any of them wanted to play Six Degrees of Separation (ala the Six Segrees of Separation 'parlour game' - think Kevin Bacon ). An example was one I had tonight (I wasn't even listening, reading, or watching anything to do with either, it just popped into my head at random like this.
Jared Leto --> Joker --> Jack Nicholson --> Batman --> Prince.
That's the idea of the game.
.
You can solve one and then leave a word/idea/topic/phrase for the next person.
.
...how about Leprachan - GO!
[Edited 8/19/16 23:08pm]
No, the idea of the game is that the people are "6 degrees" from the starting person, but you have to connect the last person with the first person. |

No, the idea of the game is that the people are "6 degrees" from the starting person, but you have to connect the last person with the first person.
Nope, perhaps that is one interprettation of it:
Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy in 1929 and popularized in an eponymous 1990 play written by John Guare. Dance where y'are, just groove y'all.

Yes, but the members in the thread are STILL playing the game wrong. What people are doing in THIS thread is just doing word association or some kind of word connection.
I mean I now it's in fun but don't call it Six Degrees of Separation.

Sooo...Are we doing PROPER six degrees of separation, or just word association? Do we have a consensus here!? |
