The gold experience come and exodus IMHO I think the exodus is funk filled alblum that deserves more appreciation. Songs like big fun and the good life are so hard not to dance to. The gold experience is such a fun and energetic alblum to listen for songs like endorphinemachine,P control, dolphin, 319, now, shy and gold(less energetic and fun but more rocking). 2 great really soulful and emotional songs (Billy jack BITCH and eye hate you). TMBGITW Is a great about loving a girl for the beauty on the inside. Not a big fan of shhh. Come is a very intersting experimental alblum. The title track imo is a really amazing song with horns a pretty slick baseline. Space is a pretty cool rap about taking love 2 the next level(space). Pheromone is a phenomenal song with phenomenal singing, lyrics, and one of his best beats.Loose is a really rocking and goofy song that I love to listen to. Papa is song that perfectly fits the tune of this alblum with dark lyrics, and a dark sounding beat in the backround with lighting in the backround that suits this song. Race is a upbeat song about racial disperties that I enjoy. Not a fan of dark. I can't explain why I like solo so much but I just do. I think Letitgo is a really amazing song with insightful lyrics, and really cool beat I enjoy all these alblum equally

I have to say since getting on the Prince Bandwagon after his death and discovering him.. this run of Albums are his best.. early stuff.. PR,SOTT,DM,P, FY.. all great also.. The Black Album all good too.. his later stuff I would have to say Musicology,3121,AOA all very good also.. But I fee his Dark Period fighting WB and having Mayte by his side he produced his best work.
A great run of Albums there and I really lit solo too cant explain why.. the range he has is quite remarkable in that tune...

i'd be as excited for a 'lost' album from this era as anything from the 80s to be honest, and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I love them all. Looking back, since I have been drawn to Parliament/Funkadelic and George Clinton catalogue over the past 10 years (thank P for introducing me to his music and live shows), I really get a P-funk feel from the Exodus album. The comic book strories tied to great music. I know they were hanging out during the Geroge Paisley Park period. Maybe he drew something from that. I love the Exodus has begun, Hallucination Rain and Count the days especially and there is a real band feeling to that funkfilled album.
Gold is brilliant, I just love Dolphin in particular. What strikes me about those albums is the drums also. I loved Michael B, don't know why, but I just found they were promient in the sound with Sonny T on Bass. Morris Hayes. I think this was for me his best band. They may not have been his best musicians, I don't know enough to judge that but I really think they gelled and produced the original NPG sound. Come is great too. Just need to be careful who is in the car when Orgasm comes on the ipod.

. I love "The Gold Experience", the whole album. I love "Come", the whole album. I love "Exodus". The song "The Exodus Has Begun" alone has put this album into my top five. I love "Sign O The Time", the whole album, but who doesn't? I love "1999" because it was my first, and because it is great. .

They should have realized the exodus has begun as a maxi single it's so funky
