It's hard and I still haven't quite absorbed the fact just yet. Life Matters

Yeah, I was okay this month, but today was soooo melancholoy. Even dealing with everyday tasks felt weird. I can tell I'm grieving, but unable to talk to anyone around me about it. YOU are not alone at all. Welcome home class. We've come a long way. - RIP Prince

Isn't it strange the way you think you're getting better some days, then one song or one video will set you all the way back to the day he left us ?!

It certainly is. I think about him everyday and hope he is never forgotten. I know I will never forget him or his music.

It's gotten to the point where it's ridiculous and I don't believe it anymore. How expensive is an elaborate getaway plan? I just can't. I mean I did the 5 stages of grief already but I'm back here either in denial or just acceptance of an alternative reality. Thing is, I've seen real actual death in person but there's this thing called closure. We didn't get that and it's BS. No proof, no moving on period. I get to think he's living in Cuba with 2pac if I want dammit. But then I'm just pissed about no more concerts or releases if they screw up the vault. Like pissed at him. Which sucks too. No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ . He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >

THIS - I would absolutely COUNT on. Even with "finished" songs/albums there remains the probability that someone will tinker.
People here have said (often) "at least we will eventually hear more music when the vault it opened."
Just personally speaking, I'm not sure I want to. I don't want to hear someone else's conception of what Prince's music should sound like. Or how an album should be mixed or sequenced.
I mean, there are people who take issue with Prince having leaned on Josh Welton as a co-producer. But it's not like Prince wasn't still in charge. Aside from the heaviness of the fact that Prince is gone, the most depressing thing in the aftermath is the thought that his music is now forever under someone else's care (and I use the word 'care' very loosely).

I would do this easy and simple: release finished work, don't touch it! Unfinished work? Create a lyrics book. Don't finish unfinished work. They'll do it wrong. My favorite talent of his was actually lyrics so I'd be sorry to never see them. No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ . He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996.
