yes I agree.. like who is there really.. Prince kinda didn t have may entertainment friends.. he had his Proteges but really.. I'd like to see Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Ronnie Wood, Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, then the rest (The Time, Sheila E, the Revoloution who have pretty much started doing tributes anyway or capitalizing on his death.. but who is there really that could do him justice.. when you compare to say something like the Freddie Mercury Tribute to which a plethora of the whos who or Bands and musicicans all preformed for Aids awareness and their collegue and friend.. Prince Tribute just doesnt have that vibe.. not only is there no cause or charity but also its nothing we havent seen in the last few months with BET doing their Tribute and all the bands doing the rounds at the moment..

just another though as to who could be in the Tribute..artistis P has covered and vis versa.. The FOO FIGHTERS and Radiohead... LEAD ZEPPLIN.. Lenny Kravitz, Steve Vai, Dwezil Zappa... there is still some great names for this Tribute... Sorry about my spelling

I think they are doing a fine job. I think they have respect and love for their family member whom valued his privacy very much. They are respecting that even in his death. If they were really trying to "cash in" as I hear a lot of you say, you'd think they'd be giving exclusive interviews left and right. Do you know what a media outlet would pay for an exclusive with tyka, or a peek at his urn, or pictures of the memorial? I am betting a pretty penny. That right there tells me this isn't about "cashing in." As far as the estate goes, he didn't leave a will, and as next of kin it is their responsibility to take care of things after his death. Comparing him to MJs family as far as them not "alienating" fans, MJ was not as private as P. We hardly knew anything about him when he was alive, why should that change in his death? It's really none of our dang business! Imagine how they feel, losing their family member, then having his fans criticize every single thing you do! These are the folks who brought out pizza to people sitting outside paisley the day after he passed, and the same people who handed out gift boxes to unsuspecting fans the day of his memorial. Tyka came out and hugged fans and thanked them for their support. What more do you want from these people? This was their brother, cousin, friend, boss.... And as far as leaving him alone... Nobody tells P no. What are you gonna do if PRINCE tells you to go home? Tell him no? You could try, but that man did not play by others rules. It was his empire, his world, his rules!
