What is your favorite song on Graffiti Bridge? . What is your favorite song on 'Graffiti Bridge'? . My favorite song is 'Thieves in the Temple'. . "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters," Donald Trump

"Thieves in the Temple," followed very, very closely by "New Power Generation" and "? of U." Damn! I forgot "Joy in Repetition." Hell, let me get back to you after I sort this all out. [Edited 9/17/16 12:06pm]

Still Would Stand All Time. After that it's a tie between Joy in Repitition, Question of U, We Can Funk, Elephants and Flowers. The only track I skip is Round and Round. Love all of the songs by The Time.

Amazing live on the nude tour 1990. And that's exactly why I can't nominate this one as my favourite! The album version was a disappointment after hearing it live. I go for Thieves In the Temple.

I love the EXTENDED 'Thieves in the Temple'...That man Prince - he had some serious moves...

I think Prince was hoping the album and movie would take him back to purple rain heights but the movie was nutty and the music was just so different, he really had sprung off in so many different directions and some of those elements of psychedelia, funk, and r&b that he delved into between those two albums probably made it much less accessible. Then, in pop music, there are always the "new" stars who come along every year making it hard for anyone to keep an audience. I think the dissapointment spurned Prince to come out with Diamonds and Pearls which was a huge hit if not offbeat or princelike for many of us.

I'm listening to Still Would Stand All Time now, wow... I had forgotten how beautiful this is. For some reason I haven't listened to this album a lot. I remember when the album came out at the time, I was a little surprised by the style change compared that of the previous albums, and even though I liked some songs, I left it on the side for a while. I wasn't ready. I just got reminded that it contains many really good songs. Life Matters

people crapped all over this album when he was alive.

Yes, it seemed like no matter what he did after SOTT, it wasn't good enough for the public , his fans, or the critics. You hear of authors who write a mnasterpeice and are never well received again as everything else is compared to it and no one can appreciate anything tha is different. I think that happened big time to Prince after his series of great albums in the 80s.

Being different does not mean it is good

The link to the movie is so heavy, they crapped on the movie for being bad (true), but anyone with decent ears knew there were great cuts on there.
