I've listened to the ST interview they say "they don't know what they dint know" when asked about the reason for requesting the records. He mentions possible financials, possible child support, allegations of abuse, anything.....they are saying a lot in my opinion without saying a lot. And I'm gonna just leave it at that.

Yeah, the reporters said everything the public would be interested in hearing, is that surprising or sounds like they have some inside information? Okay, maybe they have more of a pipeline to gossip than us average citizens, but still. They want news and I guess not the right people are granting interviews. So on to the next possible source. It's been granted, and people want a free-for-all, nothing I can do about it, but I'm not going to enjoy it, hope you do.

I dont know for certain that others will have access but the Judge didnt say the ST would be the only ones allowed to look at the file. The Judge said ST motion was granted and the file would be unsealed. I take that to mean it will be open to the public.

Well, most of the public isn't going to read it no more than they read the court papers. Maybe some of us orgers, but the bloggers, tabloids and newhounds will have full access if the public does and they can spin whatever is available as they so choose to get as many "clicks" as they can.

I found it in the Prince Vault. The awards show that I'm thinking of was the 6th Annual BET Awards on June 27, 2006. Tamar also performed with Prince on June 28 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Prince and band performed on August 27, 2006 at the Asia de Cuba Restaurant & Skybar in West Hollywood, but Tamar was not there. The GMA show was on June 16, so it was not long afterwards that she left or was asked to leave the group.

Not even going to pretend that I read more than 5 posts from this thread because I haven't, but I'm almost positive this is one of the few posts that is actually rational. In the age of social media and high profile celebrities, the public thinks that they are entitled to information that they are NOT entitled to. Why is it so hard for people to mind their own business? I really feel for Prince. This stuff most likely doesn't worry him anymore as I'm sure life is much better for him now, but still. Sad day indeed.

I cant see anything about depositions being filed. I will look more closely. Maybe these peeps didnt understand the legal jargon. I did listen to the interview 2x and they said depositions were filed.

It looks like the divorce was over in 2007 but a lot of motions were filed on a continuing basis for the next 3 years after the divorce. Hmmmmm.
