I agree with what you're saying about him running his mouth. He is spilling a lot more tea than he ever did when Prince was here. We all know what Prince would make of that (let's never forget the "bombshell" story tweet!).

With the plane landing though he said he was told everything was fine & "he was lied to too," but to be honest his story has changed on a few things so who knows.

Exactly why there is no basis for giving him a pass but selective outrage is par for the course around here.

so DF is hinting that MT trashed talked P in the divorce proceedings. how is that even a thing? not uncommon for divorce cases. as i suspected he dumped her in toronto and left- just like he dumped mayte in spain. i wonder if mayte was the petioner in their divorce as well. what could possibly be earth shattering in these filings? MT states that P was unresonable in his behavior, was possibly fucking Tamar and didn't want/couldn't have children? that he transfered L4OA and its assets to her as part of the settlement? still nothing shocking or revelatory. DF stated a couple of times that ST are looking to put P in a bad light. what could put him in abad light? did he shoot the dogs?

I have to laugh at your last statement. I worked in publishing for a long time (textbook, mind you) and I have stories about difficult authors that go far beyond anything I've heard about P, even including the symbol era (honestly, I firmly believe if they had given him his masters when he asked -- and there is precedent for that in the industry...Jimmy Buffet got his in the 70s -- P's behavior would not have gotten out of hand). Anyway, I had one author that lived in a cabin in the woods in Virginia who called me on the regular threatening to kill his neighbor's roosters because they woke him up in the morning. I seriously had to tell him to put the rifle down at one point. I called my boss one day concerned because I thought he was the Unibomber.

P was eccentric but not so bad and he was the kind of person who was going to get more radical if you didn't listen to him. It's not uncommon at all. I always tried to listen and accommodate if I could to that my authors knew if I said no that I did everything I could for them.

Bombshell story?

He was the one who spread the santa monica story about Prince's supposed son. He posted on Twitter that he had a bombshell story but was waiting for confirmation before posting. A short time later he posts a link to the article so of course people think the story is legit & he's posting because he got confirmation. Then others pick up the story, criticise the source & so he deleted it & apologised. People on twitter were not too happy!

The fanbase bears no responsibility here. That's a reach, and an insult rolled into one. Actually, that's not true, these 'boogeyman' fans did provide the source of this woman's divorce settlement.

Solidarity is for this woman's friends and paid minions to worry about - those who DO have understanding and knowledge of this case, not the fans of her recently deceased iconic ex-husband.

Forums are places for folks to bandy about their opinions, that's ALL this is. She knows, she used to be one of us.
