I read her FB post and doesn't look like it has anything to to with Prince. Bad timing, that's for sure, but only if you cater her words to serve this purpose of maybe being about Prince.
She's simply talking about PTSD which, by the way, is very real and can be very crippling indeed.
As for those saying no way Prince would beat her up cause he's only 5'2... think again. No, I'M NOT SAYING he did and if anything like that would ever come out I would be truly shocked. What I'm saying is that a violent man is a violent man and no matter his height or body frame, he can beat up a woman alright.

The only thing Prince was beating up was I know men are physically stronger than women, but in 30 years no woman has ever said P was abusive. Controlling yes...but Prince was not hitting women.

I just read her post. I don't know what "major trauma" she is referring to as she didn't mention anything specific. She said this occurred "several years ago". It's 10+ years since she and P were together. To me that's a lot more than several. Honestly I can't say after reading it that I think it has anything to do with P. Are people just speculating that because of when she posted it?

This may not have anything to do with Prince. Remember the terror attack in Mumbai in 2008. She was there and was locked in a room or somewhere in the hotel where the attack happened. She gave a phone interview to CNN when it happened and posted some stuff online somewhere about it.

I went back and reviewed the Facebook post. Because of my past experience, my mind went to domestic violence first. I am only human. I had forgotten about her prior experience. But if I looked at it that way, I'm sure there are others that at first glance would think the same thing that I did. I think the way that it was presented, there was no thought as to how it would be perceived.....or perhaps presented that way on purpose so that different assumptions would be made of it. Also the timing of the post seems questionable. But that is my opinion after reviewing the post again.
