He may have had additional assets that were still co-mingled for the purpose of business. He was delinquent on a lot of tax matters in the past and I am sure the state had him red-lighted(IRS code). You better believe they want answers too. Do I dare say he was quite naive when it came to complexed financial matters? This is no secret. He had piss poor financial advisors and lawyers who had been bilking him with ledgers he never paid attention to.

I will bet the farm that they want to figure out if there were assets attached to their settlement and whether or not she is entitled to have any stake /liability in said assets/debt after his death. .

i agree completely with this which is why i'm cool with the unsealing of the judgement. shake the bush and see what falls down. this would also explain her comments about being harrassed. the shit will surely fly and she might lose the charity altogether if things weren't kept kosher after the settlement/transfer or whatever.

Wow...Gosh...I am very sorry I've exhausted your patience...This is one of very few questions I've posed; I have read the entire thread but am still unsure as to why Bremer would be working so closely with Mani on trying to conceal things.

If they dont appeal, the ex-wife and Bremer Trust can request items be redacted.

If the Judge redacts from the divorce file then we may never know because the only thing that Bremer Trust and the ex-wife want redacted are what we want to know.

The Trust acting on behalf of Prince's Estate and Mani do NOT want the divorce agreement made public. The media has filed on behalf of the public (as in ....the public has a right to know).

Whatever happens, I'm sure everyone will be very pleased when everything is hashed, thoroughly rehashed and finally resolved.

Who knows, there may be future twists and turns before the heirs get their inheritance.

So from your earlier post, is this about possible heirs or money? Or both?

I cant fathom a scenario where drugs would be mentioned in the divorce Court file. Maybe in the ex-wife's attorney's file but not the Court file. Even if there was a mention of drugs, why would the ST care? Everyone knows P's cause of death.

It would give them a timeline. If he was in such a state of prescription use enough to warrant a divorce then it shows it's been going on for a very long time, long before 2006. I'm sure it can be spun well enough to hurt the estate. This isn't coming from an investigation this is coming for more a tabloid-ish slant. But it's been seen right here on this thread the public wants it all to come out and they will be obliged.

In a separate order, it looks like Tyka had a petition for Prince's former lawyers to turn over any information that might determine any other potential heirs. To me, it looks like Tyka's petition was completely separate and apart from the newspaper looking at Mani's divorce papers.
