Here's mine...

Thank you Prince for putting yourself out there in a way that others wouldn't

For having the courage to let your imagination run wild and put it out there in public

You took risks with your image, your lyrics, your music,

You didn't take the easy options, you stood your ground,

You knew what you wanted and you didn't setttle for less,

You did it your own way, when it would have been easier for you to do it they way they told you,

But you didn't, you weren't afraid of change, or what others thought,

You knew what had to be done and you did it,

You did it all yourself, you showed us it could be done,

I took you for granted when you here, But I want you to know that I'lll miss you forever xxx

I would rather pretend that this was a letter written to him while he was still alive.

--Thanks for all the beautiful music but I wish you would take breaks a few more times.

--Music should be a little more theraputic, and a little less of burden. I hope you find the balance.

--God is bigger than religion--keep that in mind..

--I hope you are able to make your employees into real friends by encouraging them to reach musical heights but understanding that they are not "you"..

--I hope you are able to find additional friends that weren't under your employ.

--Don't forget to ask for help from people who are unafraid to tell you the truth.

--The Piano and a Microphone tour was a brilliant idea and I am proud of you.

--Spend more time away from Paisley..get more life experiences--it will enhance your lyrical writing.

--Sometimes, reveal without being cryptic...Remove the makeup figuratively and literally.

--YOu are best popular musician I have ever seen.

You were everything a musician should be and more.

No type of tribute can ever do you justice.

Thank you so much for inspiring people.

Thank you for mentoring artists and for helping others.

Never ever will forget the first time I heard your music, I became a fan instantly.

Thank you for playing 21 nights in Los Angeles.

People will never forget how you stood up for yourself and other artists aganist the record industry as a whole.

Can't nobody do it like you Prince, you were the definiton of a sexy MFO.

Even though you are not here physically, your loved ones and fans still feel your spirit, I know i do!

I am forever thankful that I got to experience your talent and thank you for taking me to places I aint never musically been before.

Reading your "letters" makes me want to cry. So sweet and heartfelt. All of your words are so true and so beautiful. I just find it very sad to read though.

Thank you for your great music and unique live concerts.

I feel blessed to have been part of this experience. What an effort and dedication!

You are a true genius and will be remembered for your music by the next generations.
