I'm not going anywhere

I'm just pissed off I had a near death experience three weeks before Michael Jackson died and didn't form a Prince.org splinter group called "Be Aware The Third Eye Eruption 2009."

Not like Prince was going to retire into Oblivion though was it? That's on Tom Cruise.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I have been on vacation. Also, I think many orgers are using the summer (in America) to decompress after such a traumatic spring. April and May were especially brutal for all of us. Things will never return to normal but I think many of us are getting better. I think more orgers will return by this time next month.

I'm still here! Prince will be in my heart forever!!!!!!!

I'm here I visit the org several times a day, and although I occasionally post, I lurk more than anything. Since I am a newbie to this site, I sometimes find it difficult to jump into conversations. It is obvious that some long-term orgers will have built up relationship with others and will have a rapport going, but I have found it does make it hard to get involved. Often I will post comments with little response. Not a criticism as such, and it isn't a "woe is me" kind of things. I guess it is just something which comes with the territory when joining a long-running fan site...

I am a newby too.

I start a lot of threads and occasionally I ask dumb questions, and so far, with only two exceptions, people have been really nice and helpful, even as they were tactfully pointing out that it was a stupid question.

I will always welcome a post from you on any of my threads.

I feel this way too. Some of the threads are just so silly. People who claim to know why Prince died and everything that was going on in his mind for the past several years . I still enjoy all the beautiful photos and news about new releases though.

For a lot of us newbies, it isn't the same old thing, it is the first time we heard about it.

There is not that much to comment on. No interesting questions to answer, not much to discuss, and no new leaked music, and the little bit of news we got is not worth mentioning. ( I read an excerpt from a new biography today and the little excerpt contained some errors....turned me off immediately).

Keep in mind that a number of threads have been moved to other forums, where they really belong. People are there too discussing things. Have a look around to see what you're missing

ETA: and it's true, there are some people here who apparently have nothing to do but verbally slap others down just because they don't agree with what you say. I know I'm sick of it. How does that kind of behavior work when commenting on a board called Prince.org?
